Our firm is looking for a part-time experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic and supportive environment located in Shelby Township, MI, where they can make a significant impact.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and documenting business transactions
Prepare financial statements
Prepare individual and business federal, state, and local reports and tax returns
Review individual and business federal, state, and local reports and tax returns
Prepare projections for income tax planning
Payroll tax knowledge
Maintain knowledge and awareness of current tax laws and regulations
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
At least 5 years of public accounting experience
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and laws
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks
Proficient knowledge of UltraTax preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with small/medium sized business owners
Ability to successfully work independently and with a team
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
