Bring our games to life by creating characters, building worlds, and telling stories. Work with a group of exceptionally talented mathematicians, artists, and software developers to provide the best gaming experience for slot players. The ability to conceptualize, storyboard, prototype and create high quality final game design in a timely and efficient manner is crucial. Job Responsibilities Create unique, focused, and strategic game design. Ensure quality is kept high throughout the game development pipeline. Provide creative solutions to game design challenges. Support engineering and art/animation development by updating and modifying game design and choreography to meet quality requirements. Analyze market trends to inform game design decisions. Provide directions to mathematicians on key math elements such as event frequency and award structure. Understand jurisdictional / regulatory requirements for games. Qualifications Experience Minimum 5 years of game design or related experience. Gaming industry experience is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Familiarity with various game development pipelines and methodologies. Proven ability to work with multiple teams, including artists, mathematicians, software developers, to create games or products. Knowledge about slot games and the casino industry, including the current market landscape. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, customer-oriented, and deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; programming experience is a plus. Solid understanding of game probability and statistics. Passionate about playing and developing successful games. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a collaborative working style. Open to constructive feedback and adaptable to change. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming License. Education Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience. Light & Wonder and its affiliates (collectively, "L&W") are engaged in highly regulated gaming and lottery businesses.
