We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney specializing in Foreclosure and Bankruptcy to join our high-performing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in foreclosure and bankruptcy law, with a proven track record of managing a high-volume caseload. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and who is committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of foreclosure and bankruptcy cases from inception through conclusion.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence to ensure accurate legal representation.
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits.
- Conduct legal research and analysis, interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations in legal documents.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in foreclosure and bankruptcy cases.
- Maintain regular contact with clients, offering legal advice and updates on their case progress.
- Collaborate with our team of attorneys and paralegals to strategize on case management and client representation.
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations, staying updated with current laws and trends in the field of foreclosure and bankruptcy law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in foreclosure and bankruptcy law.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases and assignments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and provide innovative solutions to complex legal problems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to the team's success.
- Proven record of strong performance managing high-volume caseloads.
- Ability to travel as necessary to meet with clients, attend court hearings, and conduct depositions.
