Job Description

Overview

The core purpose of the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach (CEEO) is to improve education through engineering. In doing so, we hope to accomplish four goals: (1) increase students' excitement for learning math and science; (2) give students skills that will make learning more enjoyable in all subjects; (3) increase technical literacy for all; and (4) increase the awareness of the importance of engineering for society. To achieve these goals, we work to: (1) teach science, technology, and mathematics using the engineering process as the learning vehicle; (2) teach the engineering process itself; and (3) teach students how to design solutions by combining individual experiences and math/science knowledge.
