We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Governance Architect with expertise in Microsoft Purview to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in designing and implementing data governance frameworks and strategies , ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of our data assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance principles, metadata management, and Azure cloud services , with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Purview as a data governance tool.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices .
• Expertise in data lineage, metadata management, and data cataloging .
• Proficiency in Azure cloud services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory).
• Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes .
• Proficiency in SQL, PowerShell, and scripting languages .

Data Skills:

• Experience in creating and managing data domains .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

General Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
• Strong project management experience with the ability to lead multiple initiatives.
• Highly organized with attention to detail .
• Ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented environments .
• Proactive and results-driven mindset.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700)
• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• ICCP Data Governance and Stewardship Professional
• Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog, Professional Certification
• Collibra Solution Architect Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field .
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Purview and Azure cloud services .
• Experience in a similar role within a large organization .
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards .
