Job Description
Job Title: Electrician Job Description This position reports to and works in close cooperation with the Lead Electrician. The Electrician installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities - Install and repair electrical systems and components of industrial machinery
- Work closely with the Lead Electrician and Power and Automation Manager
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, including 480V systems
- Maintain and repair PLCs, VFDs, and automated equipment
- Perform maintenance on pumps, motors, belts, and gears
- Bend conduit and run/pull wire
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components such as motors, gauges, pumps, and conveyor systems
- Perform 50/50 plant maintenance and industrial/commercial electrician work
Essential Skills - 3-5 years of experience as a Plant Electrician or industrial/commercial electrician
- Experience with industrial/commercial and plant electrical systems
- Troubleshooting electrical systems, including motors, gauges, pumps, and conveyor systems
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and automated equipment
- Ability to bend conduit and run/pull wire
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience with food processing equipment is a plus
- Eagerness to learn and advance in the role
