Job Description

A reputable hospital is looking for a skilled, experienced Emergency Department Nurse Manager to join their team! This highly-rated hospital is located in scenic Southern Colorado, and will provide an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement.

This 50+ bed medical center is integral to maintaining the health of this gorgeous city and surrounding areas. The Emergency Department Services Manager may just find the perfect role.

The Emergency Department Nurse Manager will report to the Nurse Director of Emergency Services. Supported by one of the best CNOR Nurse Supervisors that California has to offer, as well as two CNOR Charge Nurses, this Manager will have all the resources needed to lead top quality patient care.

The Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department will be working in a fast-paced unit with a tenured and experienced staff. The Operating Rooms in this department tend to run on a tight schedule by some of the best healthcare professionals that California has to offer. This department offers a wide variety of procedures, from Orthopedics, to Oncology, to Cardiology.

The job responsibilities for the Emergency Department Nurse Manager include directing patient care for the Emergency Department, and ensuring that the standards of quality, service, and safety are met on a daily basis. Additionally, the Manager will directly supervise the healthcare team to guarantee effective and safe clinical operations and outcomes.

The Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department will need one to three years of acute care experience. They will also need to be a graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program. BLS and ACLS will need to be current on hire, with current Colorado or Compact State Licensing as well.
