This position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis. Our Houston, TX office seeks Environmental Planning Interns for Summer 2025. Relocation and housing are NOT provided for these positions. What You’ll Do: Assists project team members with various support tasks. Conducts basic research and data collection. Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects. Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports. Performs other duties assigned. What You’ll Need: Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program What We Prefer: Pursuing a major in Environmental Science, Natural Resources sciences, Environmental Resource Management, Natural Resource Management, Wildlife Biology/Wildlife Studies, Fishery or Forestry, Ecology, Geology, Historic Preservation, Anthropology, Archaeology, Environmental Planning Major, coursework, interest in any of the above areas Knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and various regulations, such as the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, National Historic Preservation Act, Endangered Species Act.
