Who You Are: A results-driven sales trader with strong client-facing capabilities who is adept at executing trades, managing relationships, and ensuring smooth trading operations. We are looking for a seasoned professional with excellent communication, strategic, and technical skills to drive growth, manage portfolios, and provide leadership to the trading unit in a new business area.
What You'll Do: - Oversee the growth of a traditional broker dealer at Galaxy focused on crypto ETFs and related single name securities, ensuring excellence in trade execution and client service.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts, providing best execution and market insights.
- Execute trades across a variety of products, ensuring alignment with client objectives and trading strategies.
- Monitor market conditions, assess trade risks, and manage portfolio positions for optimal performance.
- Serve as an advisor to clients, offering market analysis and strategic trading recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver seamless client experiences.
What We're Looking For: - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
- At least 8 years of traditional equity and equity options trading experience, with a focus on managing a client portfolio in a broker-dealer environment.
- Extensive experience trading various products, including derivatives and emerging asset classes.
- Strong interest in cryptocurrency markets and an understanding of the evolving regulatory landscape.
- Proven managerial experience, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing trading teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving expertise, with a keen ability to assess and respond to market changes.
- A collaborative team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.
Base Salary Range
$175,000-$250,000 USD
