Your Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in hospitality, property management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years of management experience in high-rise hospitality, resort, or property management.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of high-rise building operations, including safety protocols, budget management, and resident engagement.

A Day in the Life:

As the General Manager of a high-rise student housing community, you will be at the forefront of operations, creating a safe, engaging, and well-maintained living environment for residents.

What Youll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day property operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.
• Hire, train, and mentor property teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards.
• Develop and manage property budgets, tracking expenses, analyzing variances, and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Implement marketing and leasing strategies to maintain high occupancy and attract new residents.
• Handle escalated resident concerns or disputes promptly and professionally, maintaining positive relationships.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and coordinate with vendors for repairs or upgrades.
• Lead resident engagement initiatives, including events, surveys, and communications, to foster a strong sense of community.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and operational performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and fair housing laws.
