Grants Manager – Make an Impact with KVC

Location: Kansas & Missouri (Greater KC Metro)
Schedule: Full-Time; Hybrid

KVC is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Grants Manager to secure funding opportunities that support our essential programs. If you have a passion for grant writing and a strong track record in securing funding, we want to hear from you.

• Identify, research, and develop funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
• Write, review, and submit compelling grant proposals to secure program funding.
• Manage and meet all grant reporting and compliance deadlines.
• Work closely with finance and leadership teams to develop accurate proposal budgets.
• Maintain relationships with funders, coordinate meetings, and arrange site visits.
• Organize and track grant activity, maintaining a submission and reporting calendar.

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of grant writing experience with a proven success record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and grant research platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with federal, state, and foundation grants preferred.
• Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge NXT, Guidestar, and other grant databases is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within Kansas and Missouri.
