Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Coder to join our team. As a Risk Adjustment/HCC Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accurate coding of medical records, impacting the overall health of our organization.

What you'll do:

Accurate Coding: Review and code medical records, ensuring compliance with ICD-10-CM, CMS-HCC, and other relevant guidelines.
Data Integrity: Validate and verify the accuracy and completeness of coded data.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve coding discrepancies and inconsistencies.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest coding regulations and industry best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers and team members to clarify documentation and resolve coding queries.
Quality Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance coding efficiency and accuracy.
What you'll need:

Certification: CPC or CCS certification from AHIMA or AAPC (CRC certification preferred)
Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in Risk Adjustment and HCC coding
Knowledge: Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, CMS-HCC, and EHR systems
Skills: Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities
Compliance: Adherence to HIPAA and other relevant regulations

Salary: $ 27.00 Per Hour
