LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Cartersville, Georgia.
Job Description & RequirementsMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year - Unit accepts first time travelersPATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics, avg daily census 28RATIO: 1:4/5UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBARDiagnoses: CHF, STEMI, NSTEMI, renal, pulmonary, trauma, stroke, TIA. Anything not unstable enough to require ICU but not stable enough for med surg.Special Procedures: peritoneal dialysis, CPAP, BIPAP, EKG monitoring, stress test, cardiac caths, TR bands. We also handle medication infusions like amiodarone, cardene, carodarone, milrinone, insulin, 3% saline, nitroglycerin, dopamine, dobutamine, lasix, heparin, and TPN.Required Skills/Certs: BLS, ACLS, EpicInterpretation of dysrhythmiasManagement of dysrhythmiasTelemetry -on the unit monitoringTelemetry - remote monitoringPost Cardiac AngiogramPost MI
