We are currently seeking a Maintenance Tech 1 to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Tech -2 and the Maintenance Manager with overseeing all aspects of manufacturing equipment maintenance and facility maintenance.

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the execution of all preventative maintenance plans for the facility, manufacturing equipment, and ancillary equipment.
• Ensuring the proper documentation of all maintenance activities conducted on the facility, manufacturing equipment and ancillary equipment.
• Reporting of maintenance activity on the CMMS system. (Facility Dude)
• Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as they are assigned by the Maintenance Manager

​ Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years injection molding maintenance related experience in an ISO certified environment.
• Thorough knowledge of maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machines.
• The ability to maintain and repair hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and ancillary machinery.
• A basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and wiring.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, and experience that includes Servos, high and low voltage troubleshooting, and Robotics interface wiring/programming.
• Familiarity with air compressors, vacuum pumps, electric motors, hydraulic pumps, tower water systems, and shop related hand tools required to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• A basic knowledge of HVAC, water chiller and tower systems, electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics of injection molding presses and related ancillary equipment.
• Robotics maintenance or knowledge of such is a plus.
• Must be a Team player.

Education and Physical Demands:

• High School diploma, or the equivalent
• Must be able to demonstrate capability of the above requirements either by on-the-job training, or with a Certification and/or Degree. 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is commonly required to stand; walk; sit, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Physical abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
