We're seeking a dedicated professional who enjoys stable hours and is up for the unique challenges of managing the front desk overnight and performing nightly audits to ensure our team's success. Position Summary: Join our team at the Radisson Portland Airport Hotel as a Night Auditor! You'll be responsible for providing accurate and timely information and services to all guests in a professional and courteous manner, while also performing night audit procedures efficiently.

Essential Functions:

• Greet, check-in, and check-out guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Obtain guest identification and credit/check approval as per hotel policy.
• Respond to guest inquiries positively and promptly.
• Resolve guest complaints and problems professionally and courteously.
• Answer telephones promptly and route calls appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with the next shift to pass on necessary information.
• Maintain good working relationships with other departments to ensure high guest satisfaction.
• Reconcile daily revenue balances, process payments to the guest ledger, and balance accounts receivables.
• Prepare daily management reports as required.
• Update the front office system according to established guidelines.
• Balance and verify daily transactions and ensure the hotel’s computer system is ready for the next day’s business.
• Balance and audit all front desk postings and settlements.
• Reconcile food & beverage and miscellaneous revenue sources to the point of sale system.
• Handle employee’s cash bank according to hotel policies.
• Drive company vans as needed.
• Keep work area neat and organized, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Ensure a safe working environment and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Comply with all hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Possession of government-required licenses or certificates.
• Basic math skills and prior cash handling experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, work with minimal supervision, maintain a professional appearance, work as part of a team, communicate effectively, follow verbal and written instructions, and work any day of the week and any hour.

Physical Requirements:

• 3-6 hours of sitting, standing/walking, reaching, grasping, and crouching/bending/stooping.
• 1-3 hours of pushing/pulling and lifting/carrying (up to 50 lbs).
• Up to 1 hour of climbing stairs.

Compensation: $18-19 per hour, full-time
