Non-Profit agency seeks Program Manager of Home Care Services. Annual $96,000-$106,000 DOE. Benefits include medical, dental and vision care; company contributions to 403B retirement plan; generous paid time off, supportive colleagues; and a positive work environment in a spacious office.

OVERVIEW: Oversee daily operations to enhance the quality of life for older adults. Responsibilities include aligning with strategic goals, program development, staff management, quality control, and financial oversight. The role involves collaboration with healthcare professionals, families, caregivers, internal teams, and community partners and reports to the Sr. Director of Home Care and Aging Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Program Management, Staff Management/Development, Scheduling/Staffing, Supervision, QA, Financial Management

Program Management

  • Develop and manage home care programs for older adults, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate and update services to reflect best practices, trends, and client needs.
  • Track performance metrics to ensure quality, satisfaction, and efficiency.
  • Track licensing survey visits.

Staff Management and Development

  • Recruit, train, and supervise caregivers and administrative staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and create professional development opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to attract and retain qualified team members.
  • Manage hiring processes, including interview, reference checks, and compliance with regulatory/licensing requirements.
  • Coordinate orientation and onboarding for new team members, including training opportunities.

Scheduling and Staffing

  • Match caregivers to clients based on needs and skill sets.
  • Develop and provide training on staffing schedules to meet client needs.
  • Address client requests promptly and adjust coverage as necessary.
  • Ensure consistent and adequate staffing coverage.

Supervision and Support:

  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, including the Guardian system.
  • Supervise and support care teams, ensuring training on the electronic health record system.
  • Promote a positive work environment and conduct quality assurance assessments.
  • Develop departmental messaging aligned with the agency’s core values.

Quality Assurance:

  • Review audit reports to ensure compliance and quality services.
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times.

Financial Management

  • Manage billing, reimbursements, and client communications for accurate/timely financial operations.
  • Ensure accurate billing and payroll rates in WellSky.
  • Reconcile billing and payroll weekly.
  • Track conversion rates and prepare monthly reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of previous experience in homecare staffing, required.
  • Knowledge of state regulations and standards for homecare agencies, required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, required.
  • Ability to professionally manage competing priorities, required.
  • Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation, required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage team members.
