JOB PURPOSE: The Office Cleaning person is responsible for providing superior, efficient and effective cleaning services for our administrative business offices located at 571 Braund Street, Onalaska, Wisconsin. Office cleaning aims to create a workspace that is comfortable and conducive to productivity. Office cleaning services typically involve attention to detail and dirt and cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. These tasks are generally performed during non-working hours to avoid interrupting daily business operations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES EACH WEEK:

  • Vacuum all individual offices in their entirety
  • Dust table tops, shelves and desks in each office space
  • Vacuum all hallways in their entirety
  • Vacuum all common areas (kitchens, bathrooms, waiting areas, foyers)
  • Wash bathroom floors with water and mop (4 bathrooms)
  • Wipe mop boards down in bathrooms
  • Clean bathroom mirrors
  • Clean and disinfect bathroom toilets
  • Clean and disinfect bathroom sinks
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen sinks
  • Stock paper products in bathrooms, kitchens and offices as needed
  • Clean glass entry doors
  • Collect trash from all trash receptacles and put new liners in (all offices, bathrooms and kitchens)
  • Dust all wood tables, office tables, end tables
  • Clean and sanitize all counters in waiting areas
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen counters and tables in break areas
  • Wipe out microwaves and refrigerators, including handles in both kitchen areas
  • Take all trash and recyclables to outside trash bins on south side of the building
  • Take shredded trash items to outside trash bins on south side of the building
  • Understand and follow policies and procedures of the Office Assistant department and of Stein Counseling and Consulting Services, Ltd., as outlined in the department and agency policy manuals.
  • Develop personal and professional goals annually.
  • Maintain acceptable ratings (75% or better) in all areas on performance reviews (job performance, supervisor ratings, etc.)
  • Perform other job duties and responsibilities, consistent with this position description, as requested by the Billing Services Manager, Clinic Administrator, and/or Clinical Director and/or President of Stein Counseling and Consulting Services, Ltd.

WORK ENVIRONMENT : General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, and will require standing and walking and moving most of the time. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment/supplies available such as mopping, vacuuming, light lifting, reaching, wiping surfaces required when cleaning office spaces.

  • Follow weekly cleaning schedule and check list, do not mark if item was not completed

  • Report any on the job injuries to your supervisor
  • Follow confidentiality procedures
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Current High School Student, Graduated High School

OFFICE LOCATION : 571 Braund Street, Onalaska, Wisconsin

SUPERVISED BY: This position will report to and receive supervision from the Clinic Administrator. Contact immediately when unable to perform schedule shifts and make arrangements to have missed shifts rescheduled as soon as possible.

OFFICE HOURS: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

HOURS: Daytime/Evening Position: Monday-Sunday, Independent Schedule, Flexible Hours, Twice weekly - two hours (4 Hours/Week). May be additional hours.
