Pediatric Home Health Nurse (RN) Up to 2000+ Weekly!

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, in-home nursing care to pediatric patients.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Assess patient needs and create tailored care plans.
- Educate and guide patients and families in managing their care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, well-rounded care.
Skills Required:
- Pediatric Vital Signs Monitoring and Analysis: Proficient in measuring and interpreting pediatric-specific vital signs (heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, and temperature) across all ages—neonates to adolescents. Capable of recognizing deviations from age-appropriate norms and responding promptly.
- Medication Administration & Dosage Precision: Skilled in pediatric dosage calculations based on weight, body surface area (BSA), and age. Able to administer medications through various routes (oral, IV, subcutaneous, intramuscular), following safe practices and monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Advanced Pediatric Medical Device Management: Proficient in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting complex medical equipment:
- Ventilators: Adjusting settings based on blood gas results and respiratory needs.
- Tracheostomy Care: Performing routine care, suctioning, and emergency decannulation.
- G-tubes/NG-tubes: Providing enteral feeding, monitoring for signs of infection/blockage, and replacing tubes when needed.
- Oxygen Therapy: Managing oxygen through nasal cannulas, CPAP, or BiPAP, and closely monitoring saturation levels.
- Infection Control & Sterile Technique: Consistent adherence to infection control standards in the home setting, including sterile equipment preparation (e.g., catheter insertion, wound care) and PPE use—especially critical for immunocompromised patients.
- Chronic Condition Expertise: Skilled in managing complex pediatric conditions, including:
- Respiratory disorders (asthma, cystic fibrosis): Administering nebulized medications, managing inhalers, and identifying signs of respiratory distress.
- Seizure disorders: Administering rescue medications (e.g., diazepam, midazolam) and providing postictal care.
- Diabetes management: Administering insulin, managing insulin pumps, and educating families on glucose monitoring.
