Plant Maintenance Manager – Recycling Industry Our client, a leader in the recycling industry, is dedicated to sustainability and innovation through the processing of large volumes of recycled materials. They are seeking a Plant Maintenance Manager to oversee the efficient operation of production lines and facilities. This role provides an opportunity to lead a skilled maintenance team and significantly contribute to operational success. Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement all maintenance activities for production lines and facility equipment Manage repairs, services, and maintenance of industrial machinery, ensuring quality control standards Oversee maintenance schedules, workflows, and ensure accurate record-keeping Provide leadership and direction to the Plant Maintenance team Establish and maintain the plant operations maintenance program with a focus on safety Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and external service providers Perform other duties as required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 7 years of experience in maintenance management Hands-on expertise in Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical (3-phase), Mechanical systems, Welding, and Programmed Logic Controls (PLCs) 5-7 years of experience in a supervisory capacity Knowledge of maintenance practices related to industrial equipment, including balers, conveyors, and electro-mechanical devices Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals Proficiency with MS Office Suite Strong analytical skills with a focus on cost management and efficiency Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines Willingness to work shifts, including holidays and weekends, as required Ability to work in diverse environments (hot, cold, wet, dusty) Professional certification is preferred This role offers the chance to lead critical maintenance operations for a company dedicated to environmental sustainability and advanced recycling practices.
