A great new opportunity in Northwest Pennsylania! An amazing non-profit client is looking to grow their team and add a Psychiatrist! This is a full time, in person position specifically working with children.  

What You’ll Be Doing

• Responsible for the provision of psychiatric care including but not limited to examining diagnosing and treating clients, to include the prescribing and monitoring of psychiatric medications, ordering and reviewing appropriate diagnostic laboratory testing, performing group and individual behavioral health treatment.
• Responsible for psychiatric reviews and treatment plans of clients and writing necessary recommendations of services for clients.
• Responsible for the completion of pertinent medical insurance forms for clients (i.e. Social Security, Disability forms, etc.)
• Responsible for consultation as needed for all mental health treatment staff in involved in delivery of behavioral health settings, including but not limited to Outpatient and Community Based settings
• Responsible for maintaining up to date knowledge and practice of new therapies and approaches to treatment and new services.
• Responsible for supervision of, and collaboration with non physician professionals
• Perform related work as required

Qualifications:  

• License to practice medicine in Pennsylvania
• Registration in good standing with DEA, must be able to prescribe controlled substances without restriction
• 5 years experience in field
• Board Certified preferred
