Nice to have: financial services experience The Scrum Master Senior will be responsible for working directly with a team across the company implementing the Agile Methodology. This position requires an experienced Scrum Master with a strong understanding of and hands-on experience with Agile Methods, including Scrum. This individual will be responsible for facilitating the Agile Methodology, practices and ceremonies When engaging with an Agile Project, the Scrum Master has three overall goals in addition to removing team impediments and facilitating Agile practices: Facilitate the creation of a self-organized, self-managed team that can identify and deliver the work that can be completed in a time-boxed Iteration Training, or support the Agile Coaches training, of the team on the Agile methodology, processes and controls Ensure the project team adheres to the Agile Project controls o Ensure commitments to the sprint are delivered in line with expectations of time and quality. o Develop scalable and reliable data solutions to move data across systems from multiple sources in real time as well as batch modes. o Identify and deliver innovative and automation solutions in the areas of Single-Family Risk including technology implementations using Agile construct. o While implementing technical solutions using modern cloud solutions support residual legacy applications. o Understand business and establish strong partnership with partners including Product Owners and Scrum Masters. o Quickly learn new and legacy technologies and paradigms to deploy cutting edge solutions. o Utilize expertise in models that use the newest data sources, technologies, and tools, such as Python, Hadoop, Spark, AWS, as well as other cutting-edge tools and applications for Big Data. o Support applications, including providing fixes to production defects and making enhancements. Provide clear communication on the resolution of incidents. o Constantly looking for better ways of solving problems and not afraid of challenging the status quo. o Build using modern design patterns and architectural principles. Responsible for managing unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks as well as the development of high quality, well documented, and efficient code. o Provides resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems. Solutions are innovative, thorough, and practicable. Works under limited direction Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. o Work is evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives. Represents the organization as the principal customer contact on contracts and often performs project leadership role. o Manage budget and responsible for Roadmaps, Trend analysis, resourcing, resource onboarding and other VMO functions. Preferred Skills: Minimum of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP) required Five or more years of direct experience in one or more aspects of Information Technology (Software design/ development, IT Architecture or other related IT areas) Two or more years of explicit experience as an Agile Scrum Master of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a variety of situations including large organizations Effective facilitation skills Effective coaching and mentoring skills bility to thrive in a highly ambiguous, fast paced environment where priorities shift rapidly Strong problem solving skills and ability to identify win-win solutions Effective influence, collaboration and negotiation skills Hands-on JIRA tool experience preferred will not reimburse Contractor for any travel and related expenses, or any other expenses, for this engagement ACL Digital
