Senior 3D Piping Designer

Overview:

This is a professional, hands-on, full-time role focused on producing detailed and accurate 3D piping models, reviewing vendor drawings, and collaborating across disciplines to ensure the integrity of project deliverables. The role requires expertise in utilizing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and advanced 3D modeling software, combined with leadership capabilities.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Minimum of 10+ years of drafting or modeling experience with AutoDesk products.
• Leadership: At least 3 years of leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

3D Modeling:

• Interpret P&ID drawings to develop accurate 3D piping models.
• Generate detailed 3D models from vendor-provided drawings.
• Design and model chutes, ducts, and other relevant components.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure models are accurate and comprehensive.

Construction Drawings:

• Prepare construction drawings that reflect precise engineering designs.
• Create isometric piping drawings and piping plans using 3D modeling software.
• Develop bills of materials from the 3D models to support project execution.
• Produce detailed fabrication drawings derived from 3D models.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Adapt to evolving project demands and perform tasks as assigned.
