Our team is responsible for development and support of infrastructure tools used by design engineers for building sophisticated chip designs. Rapid changes to adapt to new design and process requirements are a must while maintaining backward compatibility and keeping tools reliable and scalable. What You'll be Doing: Work as a team to develop and maintain reliable, scalable and highly intelligent build systems that run hundreds of thousands of jobs each day. Develop scalable tools to collect, analyze and visualize the performance and health of the build system. Develop responsive services for users to quickly search through source files and logs. Research and develop software solutions to allow greater efficiency in architecture, hardware and software teams. What We Need to See: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience. 5+ years of software development experience. Experienced with OOP, Perl/Python/C++, Unix/Linux. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms (e.g., graphs, DAG), computer architecture and computer science theory. Flexibility/adaptability for working in a global and dynamic environment with different frameworks and requirements. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Proficiency in SCM (e.g., Git, Perforce) and build systems (e.g., Make, CMake, makepp, Bazel). Experienced with distributed computing systems such as LSF. The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 276,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
