Position Summary This is a paid Summer Engineering Internship Program (mid May to early August). As an intern with our Austin Software group, you'll work to assist in development/testing of our underwater vehicle program doing Unity development and 3D Modeling. Additional responsibilities may include user documentation, testing and requirements gathering. Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You'll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations. No relocation or housing assistance is being offered. Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

  • Carries out tasks as assigned by Project Manager and the Software Development Manager. Tasks would generally be Unity development, Simulation development, 3D Modeling and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, articles, and technical papers.
  • Interface inside and outside a meeting setting with project team members and clients.
Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • BS or BA candidate at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Game Development or equivalent
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with the Unity development platform
  • Experience with C#
  • Experience with creating basic models and manipulating models in Blender
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

DESIRED

  • Ability to work in a high-performance team on projects with constantly shifting schedules
  • Experience with C++
  • Strong background in physics
