Sr. Program Manager Fulfillment by Amazon, Global Selling LatAm

Amazon Global Selling: The Marketplace or “Selling on Amazon” business exists in many countries and is a significant percentage of the total Amazon unit sales and growing. Each year, tens of thousands of businesses join the marketplace adding millions of new products. Our vision is to offer customers Earth’s largest selection. We are all striving to improve Seller experience and enable LATAM Sellers to be successful selling in US through Global Selling Program.
Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) offers logistic services to third-party Sellers on our marketplace, in Mexico and beyond. We ship products on behalf of our Sellers, and handle the supply chain when our customers need to return the product they bought.
Processes are either existing or to be built.
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join the FBA business team to build solutions to help FBA Sellers scale their business on Amazon. The role will develop and drive programs that will have a direct impact on the Sellers' and customers' experience. The Program Manager will own program plans, optimizing stakeholder communication, and coordinating critical operational process and compliance impacts to our organization. This role will also have responsibility for aligning the programs and roadmaps, and collaborating with business and development teams across the company to manage the end to end delivery.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Identify, prioritize and execute on new opportunities to further accelerate growth of FBA as well as drive process improvements in LATAM Global Selling.
  2. Develop in-depth understanding of processes, tools, data, and teams involved in FBA process (domestically and internationally). Identify gaps (or overlaps) and opportunities, and initiate high-impact projects based on analyses.
  3. Work autonomously on new or ambiguous initiatives and understand how to create scalable solutions in a rapidly evolving and changing landscape, while working backwards to understand customer's needs.
  4. Demonstrate a high level of ownership to drive multiple time sensitive action items simultaneously through multiple business groups.
  5. Connect with key stakeholders regularly to review ops / business metrics and setup processes & mechanisms to ensure goals are met.
  6. Develop new programs/solutions and create roadmaps, lead multiple high profile meetings to align project requirements and collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders, business groups, product managers, operations associates and tech leads.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of program or project management experience
  • 6+ years of working cross functionally with non-tech teams experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  • English proficiency: Advanced (written and spoken)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • SQL knowledge
