• Position : Tableau Developer
• Location : Chicago, IL (Local Preferred)
• Duration : 3-6 Months
• Rate : $ 60-62/hr on C2C
• Client : Confidential
• W2/C2C : Both

Must Have:

• 5+ years of Tableau development experience, including designing and deploying dashboards.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing Tableau performance.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into meaningful visualizations.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data integration.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Availability to start within 2 weeks.
• US Citizens, Green Card holders, or GC EAD candidates only (no H1B/OPT).

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate Tableau with various databases and data sources.
• Ensure compliance with data security policies and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tableau-related technical issues efficiently.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytics support as needed.

Highly Desired Skills:

• Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
• Experience with SQL for querying and data manipulation.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration.
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing Tableau performance.
• Understanding of business intelligence (BI) best practices.
• Experience working in agile environments and managing multiple projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Prior experience in financial services, healthcare, or similar industries is a plus.
• Candidates local to Chicago or willing to travel are highly preferred.
