Job Overview:

As a Wheel Loader Operator, you will play a critical role in moving rocks, stones, and other materials for the concrete production process. Additionally, you will be responsible for loading materials for deliveries, assisting in site preparation, and ensuring efficient material flow within the yard.

This position requires a highly skilled individual with the ability to operate wheel loaders safely and effectively, while maintaining a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate wheel loader equipment to load, unload, and move rocks, stones, and other materials used in the production of concrete.
• Ensure materials are transported to the proper location for mixing and other production processes.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of concrete by loading trucks with aggregates and other materials.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the wheel loader to ensure equipment is operating properly and safely.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with site managers, truck drivers, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Monitor material inventory levels and notify supervisors when additional supplies are needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of materials moved, deliveries made, and other relevant operations data.
• Assist with general yard maintenance and organization to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating a wheel loader in a construction, quarry, or concrete environment.
• Strong knowledge of equipment operation, safety practices, and maintenance.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy materials as needed.
• Valid [Wheel Loader Operator] certification and/or relevant training.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Previous experience with concrete materials and delivery processes is a plus.
