Our firm is actively seeking an experienced Permanent Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to join our dynamic and fast-paced legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a vast array of bankruptcy-related matters, with a particular focus on Chapter 13. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney to further develop their skills while contributing to our firm's overall success. As a Permanent Bankruptcy Associate Attorney, you will be working closely with our experienced team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of legal service.
Responsibilities:
The Permanent Bankruptcy Associate Attorney will be responsible for:
1. Managing a portfolio of Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases and providing expert legal advice to clients.
2. Representing clients in court proceedings, hearings, and creditor meetings.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and filing bankruptcy petitions, motions, and other legal documents.
4. Conducting thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
5. Collaborating with our legal team to ensure a seamless client experience from initial consultation to case resolution.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in bankruptcy law and regulations.
7. Providing training and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff.
8. Participating in business development activities to expand the firm's bankruptcy practice.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Bankruptcy Associate Attorney position, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing bankruptcy attorney, with a focus on Chapter 13 cases.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of bankruptcy law and procedures.
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
6. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve legal issues effectively and efficiently.
7. Proven ability to manage a large caseload and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
8. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
9. Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional and ethical standards.
