About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Strategic Alliances for its Cardiovascular division. This critical role involves leading the strategic alliances function, managing existing partnerships, and establishing new alliances to support the development and commercialization of innovative therapies. The successful candidate will be responsible for uniting and leading a team of alliance managers, setting the vision for world-class alliance management, and ensuring the efficient management of alliances, particularly with larger pharmaceutical companies. The role also includes direct interaction with senior leadership, representing strategic business interests, and participating in the active management of a large pharma partnership, with a focus on global commercialization. Candidates for this role at The Company should have an advanced graduate degree (PhD/MD/MBA/MS) and a strong background in commercial or clinical stage partnerships, with a proven track record in commercialization and launch. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all key areas of the drug development process, particularly in commercialization, and the ability to manage alliance workloads effectively. Essential skills include excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence without direct authority. The role requires a high level of organization, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to the values of the company, including putting patients first and being a truth seeker.
