We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.
Rogers Group is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our Alabama Division, which is based in Huntsville, AL. This position is NOT REMOTE and reports to the Area Controller. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, intuitive problem-solving skills and the drive to meet ever evolving organizational needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain/update/publish weekly & monthly financial reports and interactive dashboards.
Perform, summarize, and distribute quantitative analysis of weekly reports.
Assist in month-end accounting procedures and inventory management.
Assist in creation of annual business plan/forecast.
Design and build analysis tools and new reporting as needed using MS Excel and data mining tools.
Perform ad hoc analysis as needed by stakeholders throughout the market area.
Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred but not required.
2-3 years relevant work experience.
Effective communication skills: written and inter-personal.
Technical expertise in Microsoft Office suites (especially Excel).
Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
Effective organizational skills to manage a dynamic workload.
Business analytics/data mining experience preferred.
