About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Accountant to manage the financial health of our organization through meticulous transaction processing, reporting, analysis, budgeting, compliance, and process improvement. This role will support key financial decision-making processes, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all financial reports and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to financial management.

Compensation

• Base salary: $85,000
• Bonus: Up to $17,000 (20% of base salary) 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee transaction processing to ensure accurate and timely financial data entry.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, providing timely reporting and adherence to GAAP standards.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to financial reporting and decision-making.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
• Preferred Experience: Experience in process improvement and familiarity with budgeting and forecasting tools.
