Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Burlington, MA. You will play a critical role in providing specialized instruction to students with disabilities and promoting an inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Provide direct, personalized instruction in a range of subjects, tailored to student needs.
• Work closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students receive appropriate accommodations.
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
• Implement behavior management techniques and provide emotional support.
• Participate in IEP meetings and work collaboratively with the team.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Massachusetts Special Education Certification required.
• Prior experience with students who have special needs is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
